Tap Three Goats Heads Oxford. A light straw gold coloured lager with a whitish head. A more than decent English lager with a nice bitter taste. Quite light in the nose but smooth and tasty. certainly better than average.

Good pale lager for a session, nice balance, right level of carbonation, decent hop character. Usually a good price as well!

Yellow with a lasting white head. Sulphur and grass aroma. Sweet malty flavour ith DMS.

Yellow colored with little white head. Buttery and hopped aroma with some metallic note. Thin to medium bodied, high carbonation. Flavor has hops and lemony fruits with thin butter still, aftertaste dries with German hops.

Cask @ The Crown, London. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty. Flavour of lager malts, with a hint of hops. Slightly bitter and dry finish.

Citte of York (spelling?), London. Pours pale golden with very little white head. Aroma is pine fresh, grassy and slightly skunky. Clear and fresh if a tad bland and thin on palate.

Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy, grass notes. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090102]
