Light grassy/herbal hop aroma, touch of sour lager malt. Pleasant grassy hop flavor, soft bready malt. Crisp carbonation. If Samuel Smith is going to persist with not serve their beers from the cask, then keg is sooo much better than nitro. This was actually pretty pleasant. Vastly better than the nitro Brewery Bitter I also tried. thewolf (5827), Kolding, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Draught in London. Had this awhile ago actually... but as I remember it, nothing special to look at (light golden with little head), but the taste was incredibly refreshing. Not much else you can ask of a pale lager really. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Draught, many London locations. A perfectly good lager, one of the few I can actually drink, and far better than the usual stuff you get on the lager taps. Very thin head, crisp and refreshing flavour. Sure, it’s a lager, but for a lager it’s not half bad. Gethinbeer (1006), Nova Scotia, Canada
