Tap at some Smiths pub in Soho. Aparently medium dry. Balls it’s sweet if you ask me. Only thing dry about it is the finish. yeah yeah. Ungstrup (15314), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Keg at The Three Goats Head, Oxford. Gold colour, no head. Well, for my 2,500th rating I get a Cider, how fair is that, and not a real cider to boot, but a commercial keg variety. Having said that, it is not the worst I have had, there is some dry fruitiness and a sharp peel edge to it, but then there is the dreaded gas. I should have marked it lower I suppose, but it is a landmark. Say what you will about Sam Smiths brews, which are average to the extreme, but by god they know how to look after our pub heritage. I hadn’t been in this one for a few years, but it is fantastic, Art Deco ceilings, wood and brass all buffed up a real picture. Visit if you can. DJMonarch (6878), Northwich, Cheshire, England
