A Mes rate: Fantasic tan head considering there is zero carb. Black as night body, looks for all the world like Guinness. Bitter and roasty flavour with a decent finish that lasts for a long time growing more bitter as it goes on. Not bad. Like a tastier Guinness.

A good beer. Feels rather heavy at first but tastes very smooth. Nice body to it, distinctive flavor. Very unique.

Pours just like a guiness but with far more flavor and a nice roasted finish. A very nice surprise.

Nitro at Cittie of Yorke, London.
A dark brown beer with a thick tan head. Guinness-like aroma, mild roasted malty with some grassy notes. Buttery and grassy flavor with a dry and rather thin finish. Soft and smooth mouthful. Good, but really nothing special and not at all like the two bottled Samuel Smith stouts that I love.

Smells like wet wood chips, opaue brown, creamy nitro head. Roasted burnt malt with a lingering espresso finish, bitter, and charcoal. Full, creamy mouth feel and a medium-full body.

BUt now that is what I call a strong stout!, It got me dizzy even I was not that tired of beers. It is really dark and heavy, and other stouts would be a kid’s game compared with this.

Black colour - virtually opaque. Some roasty malt and coffee in the aroma. Quite dry, malty flavour with some body, but not a lot of character. Served Guinness style on nitrokeg at the Brewery Tap (that is the former Courage brewery tap now run by Sam Smiths). Marginally better than Guinness - at least it has some aroma.

Roast malt, coffee in aroma. Black with tan lasting head. Sweet start with a mild coffee finish. An ok nitro stout.
