Watery, black pour. Thin, off-white head. Flatter and thinner texture than expected from the opaque coloring. Smells of chocolate. Initially resembles an oatmeal stout. Becomes more complex, with soy sauce and metal infused with sweet notes of dark chocolate. Slight hints of anise.

Black pour with a tan head. Sweet, roasted malt aroma. Sweet malty taste that leaves a dry mouthfeel. Nice taste, like all Sm. Smiths. Nice lacing, alcohol is hidden.

Bottle. A very sweet aroma, paint thinner and colors, fruity. The head is large, creamy and brown. The body is black. The first taste is fruity, then it gets maltier. The body is creamy, rather light to medium strong with a soft carbonation. A rather soft and sweet Imperial Stout.

Pours very dark with a thin head. Great rich flavor, with notes of roasted coffee and chocolate. Malt and a faint sweetness. Smooth, a very nice stout beer. A defnite thumbs up.

550 ml, pours deep dark brown with an excellent tan creamy head that sticks around a while. Roasted Coffee aroma with a slightly oily feel on the palate. Alcohol shows through towards the end with an excellent slightly dry finish.

Pours a very dark brown, with just a hint of light able to shine through. One finger tan head quickly reduced to near-nothing. Odd aroma...maybe figs? Flavor sweet with hits of roasted malt and coffee. Slippery mouthfeel and a bit light on the ABV.
