Roasted notes on the nose and then a malty, slightly bready taste with a firm body and a lingering finish. Nice. Aroma is sweet coffee, chocolate, lots of grains, plums, dates and earthy hops.
Taste is more coffee, some molasses, noticeable alcohol, and a complex roasted malt bitterness that lingers for some time.

Taste- very fruity, plums, raisins, chocolate and slight alcohol taste. Medium to low carbonation. Finish is bitter chocolate, maybe a touch of hops, but not much. Mostly a roast free, fruit forward stout. I prefer less fruity notes, so drinkability suffers somewhat. Quite light bodied for style. Flavour is roasted malts, nuts, strong coffee, bitter chocolate, a little caramel and some alcohol. Good roasted coffee bitter finish. Smooth and thick mouthfeel, medium to fullbodied.
