Bottle. Poured a very dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Looks good. Taste is of coffee, roasted malts, and a hint of chocolate. Low to medium bitterness. Tasty, but I like some of the other stouts a little better.

Slightly smokey on the nose, with brilliant coffee and choc flavors. Very complex on the palate when it warms up.

Bottle. Poured black with thick tan head. very little lacing. Full aroma of roast, malt and caramel. Fairly thin flavour, malt, bittersweet chocolate, a little roast. Malty finish. This not bad but there are many better Imp stouts. Again, drink it if you come across, but you needn’t go looking for it.
