Great head,biege in clour,watching from the bottom off glass,the carbonation is good.Colour dark with red tinge.Aroma coffee,cocoa,malted tones.Flavour rich coffee that hits the upper palate with a tangy roasted malt flavour.Slight creaminess at finish.Good bitter flavour but a little sour bit rich.

Poured a dark brown almost black with minimal head and lacings. Nice malty aroma. Coffee, caramel, toasted malt, well hopped, some alcohol flavor. Well balanced rich flavor profile. Good finish too. A meal in a bottle. It cost me over $3 US for this bottle and it was well worth it. Much cheaper than a trip to Engand.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some prominent notes of bread and dough. Medium/full body. Flavor is a mix of roasted and sweet doughy malt. A bit of yeast is noticeable. Pretty good, but I’ve had better.

Poured a deep black color, tan head with EXCELLENT retention. Aroma of rich dark roast and chocolate malt. Flavor was a very deep roast malt and chocolate, slight alcohol spiceness, slight carbonation with a semi creamy mouthfeel....Very flavorful beer!

Pours tan to brownish color, this beer has a good balance of hops and malt. Tasted a little grainy to me, probably for the amount of malt they use to brew this. All and all, I haven’t found a Samuel Smith’s that I haven’t liked, but I’ll go ahead and leave this on the shelf for someone else to try.

Pours a delicious looking dark dark brown with a hint of red and a large, tan/brown head. Smells like burnt toast and coffee, tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, with burnt notes. Finishes dry and with a bit of alcohol warmth.

Pours black, Aroma of port and tobacco. Taste of ripe prunes, smoke and strong coffee. Lingering sweet, smokey finish.

Bottle. Pours black brown, tan head. Aroma is molasses, caramel, anise, chocolate, port (oak). Flavor is the same and oily with coffee, pine, and roasted nuts.
