Only drawback is it’s a little watery for what I think a stout should be. Excellent flavor and drinkability. One of the best beers I’ve had for overall tingle and taste

My comment upon first tasting: "Now THAT’s a real beer!" Light-bodied, very dark, coffee undertones, but nothing overpowering the good ’ol beer flavor. To me, this is how a stout should be.

Beautiful black color with brown creamy head. Definite chocolate flavor and more (not sure). This is my first imperial stout and I’m very impressed...I really like this and ready to try several more imperials...they seem hard to find though

Roasted aroma, black color, dark head. Toffee, bitterness, vanilla in the flavor. Tingly finish - very nice.

Aggressive pour gave a modest but thick and frothy head. The nose is not unlike chocolate covered cherries, then the flavor hits with some fig added, and you get a perfect and yet subdued melding together of a tiny bit of alcohol burning and a perfect amount of hops to clean it all up without ever getting an alcohol or hop flavor on its own. The balance in this brew is fantastic. This is much less extreme than other Impy stouts I’ve had, but I would have to say that it is fantastic. It’s also kind of cool that the bottle is clear. I had no idea until I poured my glass. Anyways, a great beer.

A little disappointing but still pretty solid. Great flavor. Slightly watered down texture. A good brew, on the whole.

Black color with a pale brown head. Aroma: Prunes, dried fruit, roasted malt, coffee, toffee, chocolate and some alcohol. Flavor: Roasted malt, prunes, raisins, coffee, liquorice, bitter chocolate, alcohol, a bit of sourness and some hops. Smooth, creamy and balanced. With a medium to full body.
