Good if you are in the mood for a dark beer with some kick. Nice dark color with a bit of a sweet flavor.

Nice large milk chocolate colored head of fine dense and creamy bubbles. Excellent looking in the glass. Wonderful aroma with loads of milk chocolate, sweet malts and lactose. Color is a very dark brown. Body is a little thin but still good. Lots of smoked malts in the flavor along with some roasted grains, milk chocolate and a hint of raisins. Finished creamy and a little bit dry. This is a pretty damn good "lighter" imperial stout.

Pours wonderfully blach with thick tan head. Lots of smoky malt on the aroma. Medium body. Sweet taste with hints of fruit. Not to much bitterness. One of the easiest drinking imperial stouts and one I have been enoing fo r almost 20 years.

Bottle. Poured black with a dark brown head. Powerful and sweet aroma. Lacing well as the beer settles. Smells like Kahlua on Quaalude’s--chocolate and coffee so intense I want to bite it instead of drink it. Flavor is powerful--not necessarily in a good way. Tastes like chocolate covered coffee beans with an intensely deep roasted nut flavor. I’m somewhat ambivalent--the flavor is very nice but nothing is subtle about it. If I had to fast, this would probably be my beer of choice.

Pours black with tight tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolte, a slight hint of alcohol, and deeply roasted malt. Thick rich flavours of espresso, molasses, roasted barley and hops. Very complex rich, and well balanced. Perfect amount of hops. Thick mouthfeel with a finish of bitter chocolate and hops. This stout is just wonderful.

This beer pours very dark with a hearty mocha colored head. The aroma is relatively weak with hints of coffee. The flavor is amazing. Rich, bittersweet chocolate with roasty coffee and malt in the background. This is a great beer.

Pours beautiful deep brown with a thick light brown head. Gorgeous beer. Nose of Chocolate, coffee, molasses, vanilla, and all things sweet! Flavor is very smooth, with more of the aroma, and a touch of smoke. Very nice beer, but a little weak for an Impy.

Poured from a 500ml bottle and served in a snifter. This imperial stout poured a solid black with a quickly fading dark tan head. Some decent lacing was left around the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of roasted malts, chocolate, and a touch of hops. The flavor consisted of dark chocolate, roasted malts, some light coffee, then finished up with a quick smack of hops. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. This was a decent stout, but the flavor and the mouthfeel were both a bit thin when compared to better examples.
