Bottle: Black with a tan head. Aroma, roasted malts, dark fruits, some chocolate. Flavor, chocolate, sweet and roasty, some more fruits. Not thick enough for me, but not bad. Again used to like this a whole lot more.

Pours black with a nice rich light toffee colored head. Smells of sweet caramel and soy sauce. Taste is rich, creamy, definite smokiness, and a roasty and caramel and soy sauce flavor with a hint of dry sourness. Fairly light carbonation gives it a decent oily thick mouthfeel. Definitely a different stout than those I’ve had before. Tastes almost like what I would imagine a very subtle rauchbier might be like, even though I’ve never had one. Unique lingering smoky tart soy flavor. Not a stout I’d ever drink again.

Toasted malt, with strong chocoffee aroma and something I think is caramel. Pours a dark dark brown with a tan head. It has a taste just like the aroma. It has a light sweet bitter initial and finishing flavor. I can detect a slight hint of alcohol. This beer is about as good as I could hope for, I have 3 more I’ll drink them before I proclaim it my favorite.

Pours a very dark black color. Has a sort of chocolate/caramel scent. Flavor is very smooth, very roasted. Maltiness, chocolate, a little bit of coffee. Slight alcohol kick, but not like some imperials. Overall a very delicious stout.

pours a nice dark color w/ a small thick tan head that stays pretty well doesn’t really lace much. Smells great rich creamy scent hints of raisens, roasted malts and yeast. Palate coats pretty well is a little thin and has good carbonation. A very rich flavor a kind of dry roasted malt w/ a little bitterness to it a bit of lactose in it. Overall a dang good beer especialy at the price point.

Dark as hell, slight to almost no head.Nice aroma of sweet malt and some slight hints of fruit possibly raisin.Taste is malty with chocolate and coffee thrown in for a nice balance of flavor's kind of weak though meaning it was a little thin in the mouth feel.I thought that it should of had a heavier feel for an imperial but in this case it seems to work just fine for.i would have to recommend trying one of these.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. An excellent Imperial Stout. Black colour, slight tan head. Dark nose of chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Smooth and sugary to the taste. Nice coffee and roasty finish.

pours very dark brown, almost black with large carbonation. nice beige head that laced as it left. lots of smoked chocolate and tobacco in the aroma. super sweet, but astringent on the tongue. somewhat salty finish. ok, but again, i think its over-rated.
