Pours a two-fingered light tan head that goes slowly and leaves traces of lace. Black as the ace spades. Moderate carbonation. Molasses/malty nose. Medium to heavy bodied, very good imperial stout. $3.89 for a 550ml bottle. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Capitol Convenience.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with some prominent notes of bread and dough. Medium/full body. Flavor is a mix of roasted and sweet doughy malt. A bit of yeast is noticeable. Pretty good, but I’ve had better.

Large brown head, lasting with a nice lace. Black, nuthin but black. Licorice, vinous, chocolatey nose. Full/medium body, velvety mouthfeel. Chocolate, vanilla, roasted flavors. Notes of berry and smoke also. A surprisingly complex brew! Finish is fairly dry.

Bottle. Pure black pour with a medium sized off white head. Aroma is roast, malt, licorice and faint alcohol. Nice bitters in the taste with a perfectly slight mouth coating on the finish.

12 oz Bottle Pours out a very nice Black topped with a tall tan head. A nice pit fuit to it also some roast. Very nice. the clear bottle is still odd to me.

Blackish pour. Roasty aroma with some chocolate and coffee. Flavor is sugary, roasty, and not at all what I prefer in an impy stout, though not a bad beer overall.
