A copper color (clear), light carbonation and an off white foamy head. The lace is nice and clingy. The aroma is malty with light hops and bready ? light and not overwhelming. The flavor is sweet, and the finish is hopped and not over the top. Mouthfeel is light and a little creamy, with low effervescence and a light but lingering hop bite. A good light Scottish Ale.

Cellar temp. Wonderful aroma of figs and cognac. Rich flavor, slightly sweet with alcohol punching through dark fruits, figs and dates. Finish is well balanced and lasts flavorfully.

Wow. A style defining Imperial Stout. The tan/copper head started creamy and thick, then dissipated after a few sips. Nearly opaque crimson/black. Strong carmel scent in addition to sweet malts. Crisp and robust mouth feel, strong flavors of coffee and chocolate malts...maybe some treacle. I’m drinking my last one as I write this; I wish my fridge was full of this beer.

Pitch black with a beautiful, creamy head. The mouthfeel is very oily and very nice. It’s a smooth stout and yet with a nice bite! It has notes of smoke, licorice, chocolate and a wonderful balance and harmony! Two of my favourite stouts are this one and Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout!

35,5 cl Bottle. Black colour with a fantasic nice white head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted barley and coffee. A great flavour of complexity, blend with chocolate and littlebit of alcohol. Ends up some dry.A fantastic beer.

Brown head with yellowish and sulfur tints. Black, rich body. Dry and, at the same time, syrupy in texture. A bit sticky, shows its legs on the glass. Overwhelming aroma: strong coffee, roasted scent, cassis, licorice, toffee. Smells dark bread, buttery, spicy. Invigorating burst of roasted bread, coffee and some fruity very light sour notes. Not as much fruits in the flavor as in the aroma. Bitter finish. Long burnt mouthfeel. Great!

Aroma is deep, rich and sweet almost like a Barley Wine. Color is solid black with good carbonation and a tight tan head. Taste is roasted and sweet. It starts with a full body that goes down with a rich smooth feel. Finish comes in sweet raisin like taste, mellow roasted flavors then a very faint bitterness. In the after taste the raisin lingers a bit then fades to a chocolate taste. This is just an amazing Imp. Stout, its soo rich and flavorful that its almost like a Barley Wine. Its hard to believe its only 7% alcohol.
