This imperial stout has got every little thing it takes to be considered as an absolutely world class beer, so damn good! Best aroma and flavour ever, toghether with this enormously thick and long lasting head, wonderful! FANTASTIC!!! My one was a bottle, like the one showed on the picture. I would like to try it on draft, if available.

This stout pours deep black ,blacker than a black hole.It has a huge mocha colored head with hints of purple .The nose is of tangy fruits and heavenly sweet malts. The taste is very smooth with notes of ripe plums , dark chocolate and black cherries. The aftertaste is profound ,it makes your mouth water and your tongue tingle, incredible!!This imperial stout was well worth the price ,only for the true aficionado of fine brews.I highly recommend this one.

Probably my favorite stout. I love this stuff...it’s so rich it’s almost overpoweriing. The nose is to die for, it’s got a bit of everything in it. Raisin, malt, (molasses?), caramel malts, and a touch of roasty/smokiness. A real classic. And strong. I can’t say enough good about this brew.

I finally got around to trying this. Pours black as oil that hasnt been change in 9,000 miles. Medium brown head. Smells of creamy chocolate. Very smooth, creamy palate, as smooth as silk. Nice balance between chocolate and roasty malts. Finish was just the right amount of coffee, not overpowering. This is a winner.

A beer that seems worthy of the country that produced the Westminster Confession. Smoother than some of the other stouts I’ve tasted. Rich flavor. For the price, however, it’s one I’ll have to enjoy but once in a great while.

Nearly perfect. You can actually feel it warming you as you drink it. Minus the sweetness of the Oatmeal Stout, the Imperial has a smoothness and warmth all its own. If only it were less expensive.
