I was on a role tonite. First Celebrator, and now this. Dark and dark from the bottle off set with a tan head. Sweet and roasty smell, a bit too sweet, but just a bit. Coffee, chocolate, and malty taste. Sweet finish. A great brew.

This is expensive, but well worth the extra dough! A true stout that somehow manages to be smooth and just a little fruity.

This is an amzing beer. Pitch black in color, dark tan head, roasted malt/bittersweet chocolate/coffee taste. Definitly one of the best stouts in the world.

Pours very big carbonated head, which dissipates to lumpy foam. Deep dark brown - almost black in color. Medium to big nose of baker’s chocolate and roated coffee. Make sure you let this beer warm up to appreciate the big, bold and complex flavors: roasted/burnt malt (not sweet!!) along with coffee. Long delicious and smooth finish - slight bitters on the backend that come from the roasted malt, not hops!! And thank you for not over-hopping this beer!!

This beer is a pleasure and true to the IS form where hops should take a back seat. One of my favorites - bravo!!

Obviously one of my favorite beers. Extremely well balanced yet complex at the same time. Almost wine like. Dark, rich, a masterpiece.
