Rich chocolate aroma with a prominant coffee aroma. As it warms, even more sweet malty aroma come to the front, especially caramel, toffee, and vanilla. Flavour is also sweet milk chocolate and coffee on the front with a nice molasses and licorice flavours before fading into a roasty, slightly smokey finish. The finish has some faint bitterness and leaves a nice long vanilla flavour. This brew is as smooth as silk and incredibly delicious. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA

Leaving massive lacing. Aroma is a very rich sweet chocolate and coffee. Delicious. Taste is a bit different. The coffee is there but a bit more bitter. Almost a sour slant. A bit of a let down from the aroma. Not quite as full and rich as I was hoping but still very good. Aftertaste is smoke and coffee and the feel is soft and silky.
One of my faves. jables (101), Champaign, Illinois, USA

A beautiful roasted malt flavor with a slight hop balance. Roasted malt flavor persists throughout the finish. slightly heavy but the flavor picks up the alcholol warmth leaves off. a top notch imperial stout
