Solid black, creamy brown head. Aroma- malty biscuit, fruit, milk chocolate, nut, mocha, vanilla, butter. Taste- sweet light milk chocolate with a dark chocolate bitter finish. A lighter Imperial stout than others for sure. Good creamy texture and roast finish.

Pours a sizable tan head, mostly dinishing. Aroma of dark roasted malts - coffee, chocolate, dark fruits. Nice though as it is not "smoky" - not a fan of smoky beers. Thick mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish. Nice offering of the style, just not my style of preference.

Pours black with a large crema head that fades to an inch or so quickly, then is just lacing. Roasted malts, cocoa, stewed and dried fruits - prunes, raisins, figs. Some smoke and earth. Quite full bodied, has rich sweetness but no port characteristics. Sweetness is shortlived and then there is a long, dry but not particularly bitter finish. A bit salty too. Pretty restrained all around for the style and lovely for it.

Drank from a 16oz. snifter. Pours black with a healthy tan head. Moderately burnt malty aroma with plenty of very pleasing caramel. Rich flavor with bitter sweet chocolate, some coffee and just a bit of very well complimenting hops. Finishes sweet and satisfying. This is my personal standard for Imperial Stouts. I love this beer and will be enjoying it on a regular basis for many years to come.

Egészen mély,vöröses barna majdnem fekete szín fölött hamar eltűnik a világosbarna közepes hab,csipkés nyomot hagyva a pohár falán.Illata csokoládé likőrös és régi fajta medvecukorhoz hasonló.Íze keserű csokoládés,pörkölt kávés és hasonlít egy gazdagon fűszerezett jobb fajta gyomorkeserűhöz.Kicsit olajos a teste és kellemesen bizsergető.Nem nagyon érezni hogy magasabb az alkohol tartalmát.Utóíze hasonlít egy olyan csokis piskótára,ami egy kicsit tovább maradt bent a sütőben az előírtnál,ezért az alja egy kicsit odakapott.Hosszan,szárazan cseng le.Jó kis étvágygerjesztő ital,de nehéz vacsorák után is kellemes itóka.

Poured into a snifter this Imperial Stout is a dark brown, almost black, in color with a medium tan head that disapates quickly. Aroma of molasses, licorice and roasted chocolate malts. Taste begins with sweet, smooth molasses and roasted malts then finishes with a bitter chocolate and licorice. Medium body, creamy texture. The medium carbonation matches the beer perfectly. I really enjoyed this one.

bottle thanks to Treborwhip, pours a thin black with a tall tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, light soy, and noble hops. Nice sweet toasted malt and light roasty flavors mix with some smoke, peat, and again a nice noble hop flavor that ends lingering with notes of soy sauce and coffee. Very drinkable.
