Sampled at the Sam Smith tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 2.5.09. Pours a coppery amber with a thin off-white head. Good hop and malt balance in the nose. Hop and caramel malt flavor with a bitter finish. Pretty good.

Pours a copper color. There is a small head that quickly diminishes while leaving a little lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong from citrus like hops. Has a low level of carbonation with a medium mouth feel. Taste is similar to aroma with fruit like hops, but a malt flavor is there to balance it. A good example of an English IPA.

Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Aroma has some floral but is a smells a bit off. Flavor has a slight vinegar taste to it along with some light malt tastes and floral hops round out the flavor. Overall this is a beer I probably wont get again due to the skunky vinegary taste (maybe this beer was just old?).

Bottle. Pours a clear copper golden color with a medium creamy white head that diminishes to paperthin. The aroma is a sweet floral hops and light matl. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a dry citrus hops with a tangy bitter finish. A good ESB from Samuel Smith.

Pours golden, much cloudier than a normal IPA. Aroma is sweet floral with a bit of nut or caramel. Smooth and creamy. Taste has floral and toffee accents. A little hay/grass in there as well. It’s an interesting mix of bitter and IPA styles. Good beer.

12 oz. bottle - Poured a reddish gold color with no head. Aroma - malt, booze and hops Flavor - Nice balance of malt and bitter hops. Enjoyed more as it warmed. Palate - medium mouthfeel with below average carbonation. Overall - I liked this beer, easy to drink and not overally bitter. Slightly skunky when cold but flavor becomes quite smooth.
