Aroma of caramel apples and flowers in the finish. Flavor was very nice and sessionable. Has a good amount of sweet malt, with alot of apple and fruit in the background. Hop flavor is mostly floral and herbal. Solid beer. ajwilliams (118), , Indiana, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2009 Pour is amber with a thin lasting head. Aroma is floral with a strong apple note. Flavor is more bitter than floral with enough malt to keep it pleasant. I actually think this is slightly underrated. A very interesting beer. Give it a shot. Ober (1232), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2009 A clear amber colored beer, with a thick off-white head. The aroma a little caramael malt, with hops and a litle spices. The taste is dry bitter, with spices and fruits like apricot. The aftertaste is bitter for a while. Gypsy19 (657), California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2009 A mediocre brew with no particular aspect worthy of praise. Pours a nice honey amber color with an 1/8-inch head. Flavor is faintly of citrus and spice. More of a pale ale than anything, and not much of one at that. Overall, just okay. Overrated. Clear orange, small head. Sweet malty aroma, caramelly. Slight sweet sticky palate. Slightly sanitized hops - potent, but emasculated. Sticky sugary malt body. Obviously aimed at the US market, but probably not stupidly hoppy enough for them I am sure. However, it is stupidly sweet and caramelly, that is certain. rocbyter (926), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA
