Smelled like uncooked peas and had a really unpleasant mouthfeel. Eventually when the beer had sat for a little bit the hop flavor came to the fore a little more, but by then I was already tired of it.

Pours a very light, clear amber color with a fluffy off white head. Light hop aroma. Nice, well balanced flavor of sweet caramel malt and nice bittering floral hops. Has a smooth and creamy medium body. Overall an enjoyable beer, kind of like an IPA light.

Bottle pours a clear golden amber color with a foamy beige head. Very nice lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is slightly hoppy, but the caramel malt is more noticeable. Balanced flavor between the malt and hops with a slightly bitter aftertaste and dry finish.

Bottled@Teerenpeli, Tampere. Golden/orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is peas, cooked vegetables some grass and mild fruityness. Flavour is frass, some flowery hops as well as mild vegetably notes. Kind of tomatojuiceish notes too.

Pours a clear dark orange with a very loosely-bubbled head with poor retention. Aroma is diacetyl and malt with herbal, grassy hops. Tastes similar, with a rather corny malt body and slightly skunky hoppiness. Peach and light ginger. Body is well-carbonated and a bit on the chewy side, not too shabby. Too bad it’s got a cheap malt profile and plenty of diacetyl.

Poured a hazy yellow. Nose was light fruit and suttle hops. Hops dont really stand out in the taste. Pretty bitter a bit dry with banana, caramel. Quite vibrant really refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy copper, with a thin, wispy off-white head. Nose is a bit of citrus, fruity, sweet malt, along with an almost medicinal quality. Taste starts off with with a dry, bready malt character up front, with a fruity, slightly buttery note shortly thereafter, leading into a grassy, herbal bitterness and more fruity, buttery malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a very subdued carbonation. Doesn’t quite live up to the high standards set by some of Sam’s other beers.
