Nice copper in color. Not as hoppy in flavor as I would have thought for an IPA which makes it very easy drinking. Kind of musty in aroma like a dusty drawer. Overall a nice easy drinking brew but there is nothing particularly outstanding about it. I guess I hold Samuel Smith to higher standards.

The pour was amber with a thin white, quickly diminishing head. Flavor consisted strongly of maltiness with a nice dry, hoppy finish. There was a little more malt than I expected. Overall, this was a fairly decent one from sam smiths.

Poured from bottle a golden brown with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is somewhat toasty, with hay and caramel notes and a soft floral hoppiness. The flavor has a slight sweetness to it with a mild peach and caramel. There is lots of creamy malt, bread, and even a bit of hoppy yeast bitterness. Overall this beer has many flavor layers and a good balance between sweet and bitter. I would drink this one again. .

550 ml Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a good sized creamy head. Aroma is certainly of hops. Taste overall was a little disappointing- or maybe I’m used to these more modern IPAs with hops to the max. But I’m missing that smooth and creamy taste from the best IPAs. This one is a little watered down. Aftertaste is also a little sour and then very dry. Maybe this is how IPAs tasted originally but in this day and age this is not for me.

Bottle, 550 mL. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Hoppy aroma with floral and citrus notes. Bitter on the palate with a clean finish. Very nice.

The colour is a clear orange with a large white head. Firm hops are quite evident in the aroma. Mouthfeel is very full, creamy and well carbonated. Taste is relatively hoppy, but finishes a tad on the malted side.
