Straight up. Old school IPA English style. Light hops. Clean taste. This is where you get your English Sierra Nevada.

Aroma is mainly floral hops with a slight malt background. Nice flavor of malt and hops with a bitter finish. Not too bad, but what you would normally think of as an IPA.

Darker pour, amber to rust brown hue, frothy head, not hoppy for an IPA, realizing its a more original true IPA or from ratebeer’s description A Premium Bitter/ESB, underwhelmingly hoppy compared to American style, metallic taste, excellent compliment to a mushroom barkley soup though.

pours light amber ,slight white head with an aroma of grass, slightly reminicent of pine. weak flavor, not in the ale style at all. only slightly hoppy. the finish is watery. not sure why this disappointing brew is classified an ’india ale’.

From Papous wine shop, downtown Sylva. Poures a clear golden and a frothy head. Aroma of floral hops and a clean mouthfeel. Decent beer from SS.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a not too large head that leaves consistent lacing. Really nice malty aroma. Taste is pretty complex. There is a hoppy finish with some bitterness and a reallly nice malty taste up front. Well-balanced and pretty unique. I approve even though it is a misnomer.

Golden/amber color. Malty aroma. Big malt flavor but surprisingly light mouth feel. Finished bitter. A decent beer for an ESB, however not one of my favorites.
