10/6/07: Bottle.
Hoppy aroma. Warm red-brown body with an off-white, small head – touch of lace. Hoppy flavor with a small amount of malt. Bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours golden // amber colour with off-white head. Aroma is grassy / citrus / hops. Taste is crisp, this is a good thirst quencher. Decent enough and pretty drinkable.

Golden yellow colors. Bitter balanced flavors but light and drinkable. Not like a typical IPA with a strong forward hops content. Good.

Definitely glad I read the ratings here and drank this when I was in the mood for a bitter and not an IPA. It’s a good bitter, pillowy head, thirst quenching, goes down very easily. Not at all a beat you about the head with hops styled IPA.

4 pack from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours amber with a slight white head. Aroma is citrus and hops. Taste is crisp with a sharp hoppy finish, some malt. A nice beer, but not an IPA as they seem to think it is.

12oz bottle at The Pressroom, Lancaster, PA...pours amber in color with an average off-white head...smell is of citrus, sweet pine and mild hops...taste was crisp with hints of citrus, malt and hops...my initial thought too was that this was an IPA so that explains the lack of that bitterness you would expect...I agree with Bradrcr in that it was a little light, but it was very good and very drinkable. It didn’t get in the way of my king cut roast prime rib. :o)

9/12/07 from the bottle. Aroma is floral, malty, very grassy, with a solid sweet malt balance and some caramel. Appearance is hazy gold with a moderate off-white head. Flavor is low with a sweet malt/good hop flora blend forward, with light citrus and very light earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carb texture and some creaminess. Overall, great flavor, just a little too light in many regards.
