| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2007 355ml bottle. Clear copper/gold, with a modest off-white head. The aroma is a good mix of malt and hops, it has some fruity notes, bananas being the best descriptor. Medium/heavy body, with an oily smoothness. I expected closer to an IPA and this is very much an English Bitter. stretchfest (46), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Pours dark amber with a brownish small head. The taste is quite strong for 5% alcohol, and is not very bitter for a ESB. The strongest flavor is a sweet malt and perhaps a hint of fruit. Good drink. rugbydude05 (298), Kew Gardens, New York, USA

Yeah i wondered why this didnt taste much like and IPA, i guess its and english style IPA with that bitterness upfront, hay and horse saddle ranch taste to it from the old wood i guess. Tasty malts with a variety of tastes, well carbonated with an acidic and sweet finish. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark
