From the bottle, this one has the distinct aroma of bourbon, which I found quite unusual for a beer....The taste was lightly but surely of eggnog, but not in a bad way. Really interesting beer, and I do wonder if it or the glass was tainted. But until I get to try it again, I’ll call this a mediocre beer.

Bottle. Not as crisp and hoppy as I expected. Very malty and not very much like as I assumed with the name "India" in there.

When I saw that this was an India Ale I expected more hops in the taste. This had a thicker body and a more malty taste than most IPAs so I guess that is why it is considered a English Pale Ale.

Bottle. Slightly sour malt aroma. Dark amber color with small head. Slightly sour malt flavor with a moderate hops finish. Nice, smooth and drinkable - a bit light though.

This is a below average IPA to me. It has a very one-dimensional flavor that I find in too many IPA’s: Hops and only hops. I can barely taste any good malt flavor. The mouthfeel is just average at best... nearing more to watery than thick, but I didn’t have the heart to give it a 2. With much better IPA’s out there, I will not be buying this again.

Very nice clear copper color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is mostly malt; I don’t notice much hops in there. Flavor is well-balanced, woody, dry, and of course, malty and hoppy. A good British ale; not really much like American IPAs, but good nonetheless.

good white head that vanished quickly, very powerful malty nose, promising. hoppy flavour and a very dry finish, almost a touch of pale citrus right at the end, very nice drink, must get some more

Poured from the bottle amber in color with a big frothy beige head that disapatted quickly. Aroma was of grassy hops. Flavor was a smooth malt and light hop notes with a slight touch of bitterness in the finish.
