| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 4, 2006 550 ml bottle poured a clear copper with a large fizzy head that diminished rapidly. Aromas of light carmel, some earthy notes and a hint of floral. Palate was light bodied and slightly resiny. Flavors of carmel, some pine notes and a hint of earthiness with a bittersweet finish. Not a bad IPA just nothing about it stands out. Kinda boring. burpfrank (292), carpinteria, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2006 Updated: Nov 25, 2006This had a small head,which disipated quickly.Not much aroma.hops.Color brown.Tasted smooth with a bitter-dry aftertaste.Kind of sticky on the palatte.Good,but I think I have had better.Pretty good.will buy again.Actually,the more I drink it the better it tastes.I’ve tried many beers that have that original in your face taste,and then after you enjoyed it you had enough because it was so overbearing.well,this one seems to taste better with each sip.Tasty.11-06:
Just tasted again. Not as good as i remembered.still has small short-lived head.color good.It has that kinda flat, golden beer taste.Wish i got a Stone Ipa instead!! pintocb (518), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2006 Amber with a white head. After having lots of American IPA I was expecting something different. I was pleased with what I got. Lots of English malt. Reminded me of several Englaish Ales I’ve tried. Had more of a hop profile than normal ale, but not the over powering floral or bitter hop of an American IPA. gferd (99), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 21, 2006 mber red with a huge head. Constant lacing on glass. Flowery hop aroma. Slightly malty, dry with a nice hop bite. If you don’t like the American over hopped versions, this is right up your alley. Enjoyable!!! webjedi (249), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2006 Pours a golden orange with a frothy creamy head. Eminates a wheaty, hoppy alcohol scent, with slight apple. Menthol-ish hoppy dry bite, although creamy on the tongue. Slight citrus/apple taste on the back of the tongue. Still remains wheaty and bitter after a swig. (Bottle Pour 6/19/2006)
