Pours a nice golden colour with red hues and a big frothy and sticky white head. Aroma is of green apple, honey dew melon, honey, herbal tea notes, citrus... lots of citrus. Tastes green apple, tea, honey, citrus, and some nice malty caramel notes. Palate is fairly thin, not the best carbonation. Overall, I like this beer. Just like the other Sam Smith products I’ve tried.

Better than their lager, this guy is sweet, malty, and has a tiny tingle of hoppiness in the back of the throat. I would probably not buy it again.

This delicious ale smells more malty than hoppy, the hop aroma comes in at the end. It pours golden/orange almost like the color of a mead. It tastes like a standard ale with a subtle hoppy finish, not like those IPAs in California.

Not a legit UK IPA.Check out Meantime’s offering for that.A good ESB this is however.Hah its ironic how they give the history of IPA all over the bottle, and yet this beer is more malt driven than hop controlled.Malty sweet base-giving honey, tea bags ,dust and caramel.Kinda mellow citrusy dry hops. But aint aromatic or floral.Sorta rigid and lacking structure or something. But I do like this beer and could drinking lots of it.

A 0.355L bottle tasted at Olutkellari Helsinki. Pale head. Pale golden yellow colour. Slightly sour soft taste. Average hoppiness. Slightly metallic taste. Soft and nice IPA.

Sample from beer tasting @ BevMo! Mission Valley. A clear deep golden color with an off white head. Nose of weak hops and semi sweet malts. A bit disappointed in this brew.

clear light brown/amber color with small creamy head. nose mellow, light and clean... light malts and mellow english hops. kinda bubbly and dry, with a great balance of light malt and mellow, earthy english style hops. somewhat tangy finish
