More amber than brown with a fair head. Solid aroma of sweetness and nuts. Typical brown ale, light on the tongue with little carbonation, mild taste that is well balanced.

Very creamy mouth feel. Nice balance of caramel, nuts and malts.

Oct 7, 2008 Smell is unimpressive, metallic, some maple and nuts. Roasted malts hit up front, fades into sweet nuttiness. Palate has velvet texture, slighly dry finish. A very decent brown.
Good with Gouda.

Oct 5, 2008 Very good Ale. Sweet, nutty, malty and delicious. Not bitter, great aftertaste as well as undertones of caramel. Definately one to try if you havent yet.
