Dec 27, 2007 Aroma: Malty sweetness w/ some notes that are borderline fruity, oats, very light smoked ham smell. Taste: Starts sweet, moves to malt bitterness w/ oats. Then, some fruity notes set in just before the finish (strawberry & banana). Finish is muttled. Some acidity. I feel like the last one of these I had was much better.

Dec 25, 2007 Updated: Mar 7, 2008Pours dark as night. Thick tan head that breaks down slowly. Good lacing. Not much of an aroma though. Hard as I mite I can not pick up too much to smell. Creamy lite taste and very easy to drink. Nice departure from other abrasive stouts and even porters.

Dec 24, 2007 Black with a creamy head. Tipical stout’s nose profile, with a little sweetness you could perceive even in the aroma. I prefer dryer versions but it is certainly smooth and silky.
