Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 5, 2003 A black beer with a fine light brown head. The flavor is fruity, roasted, and oaty. The flavor is sweet with a slight but nice bitterness and notes of fruit, oats, and roasted malt. A very nice stout. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 23, 2005 (Bottle 55 cl) Pitch black with a neat, little brownish head. Roasted, malty aroma. Quite light in body, notes of roasted/burned malts that don’t leave any real bitterness though. Appears smooth with an unusual underlying slightly tart note. Could be the oats. Unusual. 050201 omhper (12153), Stockholm, Sweden May 16, 2002 Very black. Instransparent. Roasty, creamy, softly malty. Medium bitterness. Wonderfully balanced. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 4, 2008 35.5 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a slowly collapsing tan head. Mild roasted and smooth malt aroma. Smooth mouthfeel. Acidic roasted malt with a light smoke flavour. Light coffee-ish note too. Light acidic and mild smoke finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Oct 4, 2006 Bottle.
