Awesome. Smooth, sweet and malty. Really a great drinkable dark beer!

Good smooth stout. Great color and maltyness. Needs to be served on tap in more bars and resturants.

Now this is what Oatmeal Stout should me, malty, grainy and a bit of sweet. Not like that nasty, salty Ipswich junk.

I hate to do it, but I must admit that this beer is in fact the best stout I’ve ever had. The first time I had it it was a little skunky from the idiotic clear bottle, but since then it’s been sublime. If you know me then you know I have a hard on for Rogue Shakespeare Stout, but this is better. Just so incredibly smooth and creamy, with a perfect balance of roastiness, chocolate, coffee, sugar, plum and grape in flavor and texture. Oh God, it’s so good...

This is an excellent, classic example of the style. However, very, very rich and hard for me to finish a whole bottle. If you are a stout or porter lover, this is a must have!! Burnt, roasty, yet bittersweet, this beer is absolute perfection.
