Taste 8/8 Bottle(Date?). Looks: Copper with a thin head. Aroma: Biscuit yeast and malt. Taste: Nice ratio of ingredients for the style. Nothing overplayed and not bland either. Nice bitter.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter caramellic flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily plate. Tastes a bit like a brown-ale. Very well-balanced unik beer.

I have a massive soft spot for this beer, and have consumed more bottles of it than I can reasonably recall. A lovely amber pour with a nice moderate head. Gorgeous notes of sweet malt and hops with a very distinctive yeasty quality to it that I always (whether I’m mostly projecting it or not) attribute to SS beers. Despite the prevalent malts, this one’s very light on the palate without being thin. Fruity hops, the kind of stuff you’d expect in a stronger IPA but which give real bite and character to this lovely beer. I might not love this beer so much if I was having it today for the first time, but fuck it.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with creamy white head. Smells earthy. Nice smooth oaky taste. Goes down easy with a beautiful aftertaste. Meshes with my palate beautifully. Good Stuff.

12oz bottle. Pours amber with small white head and malty aroma. Malt flavors with the sweetness of fruits and hints of hops. Not wonderful, but good overall.
