Bottle. Pours bright copper with milky dense beige head. Herbal tea-like aroma with nuttiness, orange zest, and some autumn spice and toast. The flavor is caramel, some toast, even herbal and spicy bitterness, and some fruity esters. Ok.

550ml bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose of caramel, light hops, and some light apple notes; clear rust color with a medium beige head that laces nicely; flavor is caramel malt with light sweetness, light hop bitterness, and a peppery finish.

Poured a clear copper/amber with a cream-colored full head that lingered. Mild hops aroma, a bit of caramel and fruitiness as well. Well balanced flavors include biscuits and nuts against grassy hops. Medium bodied with a dry, crisp finish.

One of the world’s most famous Pale Ales’ in Bass. One need only sample Samuel Smith’s offering to see how the more famous Bass pales in comparison. Honey rich aroma and earthy malts allow one to quaff this ale all too easily. You simply can’t go wrong with Samuel Smith

A tasty ale that looks and tastes like honey. Pours an amber-orange with a 5/8-inch head. Not outstanding, but good and satisfying nevertheless. Good carbonation, good balance.
