50 cl. bottle. Pours a clear copper color with an off white head. Has an herbal, spicy , grainy smell. Medium bodied and softly carbonated. Earthy, woody, toasted grain flavor. Finishes slightly bitter. A decent English pale ale. Dec 2004

Appearance: Mahogany reddish brown with a light tan head. Aroma: Big grainy nose with notes of honey and molasses toasted bread and butterscotch. Flavour: Strong attack with lots of warm fruit esters (plums and raisins.) Very grainy and biscuity. Finishes bittersweet with strong grassy English hop flavour. Low bitterness. Hazelnuts toffee and diacetyl butterscotch. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, chewy and fluffy. Overall: A rich estery beer with lots of toasted notes and warm fruit esters, plums pears and raisins. Bittersweet finish with sweetness coming from diacetyl.

550ml (1 pint) bottle, 5.0% a/v Pours a firey copper colour with a nice delicious looking tan head. The aroma is malt, toffee and a bit of molasses. Taste is fairly malty with some brown sugar/toffee malt flavours. Would have liked more hops for sure, but not a bad beer.

An excellent beer. The epitomy of a session, English-style pale ale/ESB. Pours with a big head, coppery. Very easy on the palate. More malt than I usually like, but this beer went down quick and smooth and I wanted another. Not filling. Great. Wish I had another. Thanks to Dad for bringing this to Panama.

bottle. pours hazy red-orange, thin head dissipates quickly. resinous aroma, some grass. flavor is moderate bitter hop over solid malt backbone, light caramel, slight sour end. very brief on the palate - flavor is full but washes away quickly. moderate carbonation. a great, well rounded pale.
