Not too bad, a little sweet for a pale ale. Glass bottles are the devil. Not bad but plenty of better PAs out there.

Drank in a trappist glass. Orange / caramel body. Aromas of alcohol, floral hops and hints of nutty caramel. Creamy somewhat bitter feel. Flavors of caramel, orange peelings, nuts. For an ESB, extremely well balanced.

Bottle(550mL): Poured a light amber in color with a small, white head. Smell has a bit of fruit, some berry in there it smells, but I can’t pin down the type. It’s very interesting. It smells very sweet. Flavor has an interesting taste. Again, I notice what seems to be some sort of berry flavor, the more I drink, it seems like it may be a slight raspberry, but again, I am not positive on that. Taste is pretty malty, with maybe a hint of hops in it.

Attractive amber color, and a head that refuses to lace. The aroma is good, but the flavor is much better. Nice balance of malt and hops, with a pleasant aftertaste. Very drinkable - may I have another?

550 ml bottle - pours clear amber, with a big rocky beige head tha lasts forever. Nutty and hoppy aroma, with some malt in there. That distinctive British aroma. Nice taste - upfront maltiness with a good amount of fresh hops, and a pleasant slightly bitter finish. Nothing to write home about, but good stuff nonetheless.

550ml bottle. Pours an almost glowing amber colour, very nice under the light. Nice ’bright’ aroma, which speaks loudly of what the flavour will bring. This is a very smooth beer, balanced nicely between the malt and hops, with a pleasant earthiness and bitterness in the finish.
