Pours golden copper with a small off white head. The aroma is toasted malt with some light diacetyl, dry caramel/toffee and minor biscuit. Medium lightly rough body with some light sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with some toasted malt, a bit of corn, some diacetyl, lots of phenolic spice and minor hops. The finish is quite phenolic. Okay beer.

Caramel malts, cidery yeast and toffee round out the aroma. Rich gold in color with creamy head that didn’t last long, murky body. Flavor of tart apple and cherry, with caramel and toffee as well. Palate is creamy and smooth. Quite good and underrated here, methinks, and I usually don’t enjoy English brews.

355ml dark brown bottle, label as shown. Pours a beautiful clear orange golden, with a small off-white head and some lacing. Typically malty and bread-ish aroma, but milder than some. Low to medium carbonation, medium-bodied, slightly oily mouth feel. Taste is surprisingly citrusy and slightly sweet in the finish, not really a "bitter", more like a golden ale. There’s a note of sweetcorn in it, too. Skunky it ain’t, but neither is it top of the line for the great Samuel Smith brewery. And at €3.50 for a small bottle it is a tad expensive.

Yellow amber hue, diminishing creamy head, smells malty, tastes malty and sweet, although not a mass produced beer has some charateristics of cheap american beer with a little more body, could put down a few

Pours a clear orange with a small white head. Strange off smell in the nose, super fruity with a bit of maltiness. Flavor is more of the same. Kind of off with some strange sweet notes. Not my favorite beer.

An interesting bitter ale. Golden orange pour with a medium white frothy head with good lacing. Aroma is fruity, and hoppy. Taste is slightly bitter and malty with a aftertaste of sweet hops.

550ml bottle. Pours a light amber gold color with a whitish head that fades rather slowly and leaves a thin lace. The aroma is of honey, light caramelized malts and a touch of hops. The taste is moderately sweet, bready malt, with dry earthy hops to balance and touch of citrus. Thin and crisp, with a great carbonation.

clear orange, thick offwhite head. malty, flowery aroma, ever so slightly fruity, refreshing. honey. flavor is malty, faint fruity, mild and a little bitter. also some metal. bitterness as in HOF, quite soft palate, even though it is sort of macro’ish in its profile , and it has a little metal in the flavor, i like this beer. would be a good companion when wathcing football or some such.
