Dark opaque cider color with foamy off-white head, which disappears and leaves a foamy lace. Soft bready aroma with moldy edge. Faint bit of green apple. Soft on the palate, very mild bready malt flavor. Barely a trace of hops, and a faint acidic bitterness. Lasting bitterness almost tastes sour.Not great. Pours deep cloudy orange/gold with a mid-thick white head. Aroma is fruity (mostly apples?) and yeasty, with a caramel/molasses sweetness. Similar taste, with a dryish, slightly acidic finish. Medium-light bodied. As others have noted, very smooth and drinkable, good but not really a stand out.

Pours cloudy golden with a big head at first the disapates into a thin white layer. Tastes of fruit and caramel going down very easy. 550 ml bottle

Poured from a 550ml bottle into a mug. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden amber with foamy off-white head. Aroma of malt and fresh fruit. Tastes of malt with notes of apples and peaches. Excellent lacing on the inside of the mug. Medium mouthfeel, with just the right amount of carbonation. Not certain why this isn’t more highly rated. Sure, it’s a little pricey($3.89\bottle), but if you figure you would pay that much at a bar for a pint of domestic at a bar, this is a bargain. Very tasty. VERY drinkable. For my money Samuel Smith consistently brews the highest quality beers for the money, regardless of the style.

Nothing unpleasant here to report. On the other hand, this beer is quite boring. The honey flavor present is a nice touch yet the only thing worth noting. Not worth the premium price overall, though ultimately drinkable and marginally pleasant.

(Bottle). Caramel aroma. Orange-amber, small head. Very mild caramel, watery, slightly bready flavor. Smooth, but doesn’t make much of an impression. Really quite blah.

Bottle. Pours ornage amber with an off white head. The aroma has yeast, peach, and some hops. Sweet malty flavor with fruit, yeast and hops. Nice.

Cloudy orange color with a small but persistent head and good lacing. Nose of malt and yeast with some citrus notes. Taste is a fairly complex mix of sweet malt, bitter hops, citrus like sourness, some tart traces, with subtle notes of grass and chalk. Finish is tart, sour, and bitter. An interesting balance of flavors and a fairly nice drinkable brew.
