| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 7, 2008 Just couldn’t enjoy this one. Odd mix of flavors, dark fruits, carmel, malt coffee, the typical list, but just not balanced and all kind of weak. thewolf (5758), Kolding, Denmark

Pours clear dark golden with lots of small bubbles. Medium, firm, creamy, white head. Aroma is malty, some hay, honey, light spice and grassy hops. Firm, light carbonation. Flavour is sweet, very malty, some haylike grassy hops. Fine, dry hoppy finish. Very refreshing. fonefan (11525), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle from Trader Joes. Poured a golden brwon color with study, light brown head. Slight scent of yeast and hops. Biscuity, malty flavor with sweat honey notes. Some hops crispness. Gets sweeter as I worked down the glass. Goes down pretty smooth. Real nice. scotty (832), Scotland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 29, 2008 This was labelled as " Best Organic" everything else was the same. Crackin’ gold colour with a superb white head, lasts right to the bottom of the glass, mind you it didn’t take long for me to finish this! Delicious, soft malty flavours with an understated hop character, well balanced, a very satisfying brew.Another star from Sam Smiths. Bought in that wine shop in North Berwick when I bought the awful Colonsay Lager. boFNjackson (1299), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 19, 2008 Bottle... Poured hazy orange with a good size white head. Aroma is faint with floral and fruity malt notes, slight fermented alcohol scents too. Mildly carbonated, very smooth palate. Flavors of citrus fruit and maybe coriandor that blend with the yeast and the hop and malt flavors. Peppery, Lemon finish. VitaminR (434), Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2008 Rum raisin nose, some horse sweat notes. Iced tea amber to brown color, some haze, pillowy medium head that lasted. Burnt caramel and raisin water sweetness, bitterness is a little one-dimensional. Good carbonation, medium bodied mouth feel, finish is harsh initially, but then settles adequately. Decent beer, just lacked some depth in character.
