Golden in color with a thin head. This was a typical ale. This had the malt and the hosp and really was more of a regular beer flavor. Nothing too special just a regular beer.

Baught this at giant eagle surprised that they would carry any decent beer. This infact is a very mediocre beer. I like the amber orange color but that is about it. Mild hops , mild taste.

Bottle from Trenton Take out. Orange coppery pour. Mild British hop aroma with a hint of bread. Thin and bland in taste. Not much imagination went into this brew.

Bottle. Pours a clear bright amber with a fading off-white head. Aroma of noble hops, fruit and nuts. Medium body and carbonation. Fruit and nuts taste with a toffee sweetness to start it up and a moderate woody bitterness to finish it off. Nice!

[Tasted in 2004.] An ordinary looking beer, but at further tasting it really makes this better. Fruity notes of hoppyness and lots of ingredients. A great ale in the bitter way.

Not a favourite of mine in Sam’s impressive portfolio. Antiseptic malty graininess, boiled sweet syrupy nose, some discernible boozy hops.
