Bottle. At first sniff this reminded me somewhat of a thin Barley Wine. But of cause way to thin to have any real similarity with a good Barley Wine. Head was spares, white and quickly goon. Slight lacing. Aroma was very sweet malt, with notes of rye bread, caramel, fruit and slight notes of hops. Light to medium bodied with a moderated carbonation and a slightly thin texture. Flavour was not as sweet as the sniff lets you to believe. Some bitter notes, especially at the end can be detected. Ok and drinkable.

A light aroma of floral hop and malt. Clean coppery color with decent white head. Very small amount of lacing. Starts lightly fruity, develops a bit of citrus. Malt. Hint of grape. Medium mouthfeel, reasonable carbonation. Ends with some hop, some fruit and pretty dry. Pleasant to drink.

Aroma is lightly sweet, some vanilla. Appearance is very nice, light amber, kind of cloudy, with a frothy head. Flavor is okay, kind of mild, and palate is lighter than I expected with lively carb and a somewhat watery texture. I agree with the reviewer from Ohio who feels that this Sam Smith would be better in the summertime.

Warm, golden with a nice head. The aroma has nice notes of malt and fruit. Initially the flavour is full with notes of fruits like melon and some caramel. Then a nice hoppy bitterness comes along and develops nicely throughout the finish. A charming beer.

Pours a hazy peach color with an inch of soft, cream colored foam. Decent head retention, good lacing. Biscuit malt, funky yeast, lemon, and peach in the aroma. Flavors are an odd comibination, but by the end of the first bottle, I had learned to enjoy them a bit more. I taste biscuit malt, rye, and peach pit. It is a bit on the dry side, and then finishes on the very dry side, with more rye, dusty spice, and a little tanginess that might be funk, citrus, or hops - or all three. Medium body, good carbonation.

Bottle poured a lightly hazy amber with a minimal amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruitiness and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, light fruitiness and a bit of butterscotch with a crisp moderatly bitter finish.

Smells like strawberry cheesecake (yes, you read that right). Cloudy golden-brown in appearance with a very small white head. Starts with a white bready flavor and ends in a lemony finish. Interesting, very drinkable.
