| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 19, 2007 A light aroma of floral hop and malt. Clean coppery color with decent white head. Very small amount of lacing. Starts lightly fruity, develops a bit of citrus. Malt. Hint of grape. Medium mouthfeel, reasonable carbonation. Ends with some hop, some fruit and pretty dry. Pleasant to drink. johnnysuede (16), Boston, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2007 Aroma is lightly sweet, some vanilla. Appearance is very nice, light amber, kind of cloudy, with a frothy head. Flavor is okay, kind of mild, and palate is lighter than I expected with lively carb and a somewhat watery texture. I agree with the reviewer from Ohio who feels that this Sam Smith would be better in the summertime. Maria (6326), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Warm, golden with a nice head. The aroma has nice notes of malt and fruit. Initially the flavour is full with notes of fruits like melon and some caramel. Then a nice hoppy bitterness comes along and develops nicely throughout the finish. A charming beer. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Pours a hazy peach color with an inch of soft, cream colored foam. Decent head retention, good lacing. Biscuit malt, funky yeast, lemon, and peach in the aroma.
Flavors are an odd comibination, but by the end of the first bottle, I had learned to enjoy them a bit more. I taste biscuit malt, rye, and peach pit. It is a bit on the dry side, and then finishes on the very dry side, with more rye, dusty spice, and a little tanginess that might be funk, citrus, or hops - or all three. Medium body, good carbonation. ratman197 (3266), Arvada, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Bottle poured a lightly hazy amber with a minimal amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruitiness and a hint of honey. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, light fruitiness and a bit of butterscotch with a crisp moderatly bitter finish. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2007 Smells like strawberry cheesecake (yes, you read that right). Cloudy golden-brown in appearance with a very small white head. Starts with a white bready flavor and ends in a lemony finish. Interesting, very drinkable. WSSmiles (124), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2007 Poured orange golden color, with a dirty white head. Aroma was not much to me, however did smell a fruity type. Flavor like several if not all S.S. beers was very clean and crisp. Overall a very fine beer that would be better in the summer.
