Pours hazy amber with a 2 finger lumpy, off white head that has good retention. Aroma is apple, grain, sweet malt, caramel, nutty toffee, milk and lightly toasted sourdough. Flavor is overripe apple, buttery biscuit, toffee, some berry, white bread, grass, wheat cereal, finishes with apple, herbal and fruity notes, and a strange slightly bitter, woody, overripe fruit fade. Palate is light to medium body moderately carbonated and somewhat dry throughout. Not bad for a bitter despite being a little too buttery and having some odd flavors that I can’t quite pin down.

Thanks 17thfloor! Pours a clear light golden color with a small white fizzy head. Aroma is very fruity and malty, not bad. I pick up a lot of apple and sharp fruits, kind of like apple juice. A nice bit of malts helps to balance that fruitiness with some basic graininess. Flavor starts with a burst of sweet fruits riding atop a nice malt base. A bit tart before a brooding bitterness towards the finish with a nice soft biscuit flavor. Medium body and a nicely biting carbonation. Admittedly I haven’t enough a lot of English bitters so this might go up after I have more. It is pretty easy drinking and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours a very clear rich golden with some finer bubbles and a thin fizzy off-white sudsy foam. Aroma is sweet and grainy, some grass and light bread, smells a bit like a golden ale. First taste is fairly bitter with a medium sharp sweetness, the body really makes it as its not heavy sweet, very lightly fruity, finishes with a touch of caramel, bread, and bitter. Very smooth flavors but still has that ale bite. Gets quite buttery at room temp. Medium bodied with well spread out sharp soda carbonation, just slightly viscous. Tasty base offering, easy drinking and satisfying.

Lovely head and an orange hue. Nicely balanced with abit of chewiness. Good solid drop.

Bottle. Poured a light and clear almost orange in color and had almost no head which diminished almost immediatley. The aroma was that of bready malts with a slight flowery scent and almost no hops. It had barely any aftertaste that only lasted seconds. Mouthfeel was light and creamy but with very little body. Overall an alright beer nothing special, nice on a hot day.

A decent, but uninspiring, pale ale. Pours a nice gold with a white frothy head; has a aromas of malt sweetness and a hint of hops. Has a slightly thick, sticky mouthfeel that blends well with the flavors - sweet and slightly bitter, a decent balance of the two. Alright; a generic pale ale is better than a generic pilsener.

hazy dark gold pour. English malt and some fruity esters waft up, some breadiness as well. Sweet malt and breadiness are reflected in the flavor as well. Simple but nice, improves as it warms.

0,5 liter fles gevuld met typisch engels bier. Lekkere bitterheid, een mooie kleur, zelfs ht schuim blijft nog even staan. vvor mijn nummer 600 heb ik speciaal deze uitgekozen uit mijn bierkelder.
