Bottled. Light colored yellow/ orange. Almost citrusy aroma with some malt. Malty but very watery taste. Easy drinking however.

In the bottle. I was really quite amazed by this beer. I had planned to hate it before even trying it. Usually, I see anything labeled "organic" as a giant pile of marketing crap to extract coinage from Gen-Xer’s. You see, to a scientist, if it has carbon in it, it is organic. Therefore, ALL beer is organic. Putting this aside, the beer pours as dark a gold as you can get. Very thick strong white head. The aroma is a big malty bolus. The flavor is thick. As close to syrup as you can find in such a light colored ale. Is this fully attenuated? I think so, it tastes finished. I just don’t see how you can get such a big mouthfeel without having a huge OG. And if you have a huge OG, then why is the alcohol so low on this beer? This mysterious little brew needs further investigation.

Rusty/pale amber body topped with a good off-white fluffy. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and light toasty hints. Taste is dominated by fresh hoppy flavors, and finish is decently long and bitter. Although its taste lacks some complexity, this is still a very enjoyable "everyday ale".

Samuel Smith’s Tadcaster brewery just keeps pumping out some great bottled Ales, and this one, surely, is another to add to the list. Poured into a tall stein, a pleasant and slightly hazy gold body sat below a big fluffy white head, that laced down the glass. Orange juice and lemon zest esters dominated the aroma, amid some sweet malt and yeast. In the mouth, sweet honey malt hit upfront, with congealed sugars and citric hops mid-palate, and a pleasant floral swallow. Full bodied, balanced, and clean, this is a great low complexity, sessionable beer, that’s great for the summer months.

Pours a nice looking orange with a decent white head. Smell isn’t very strong, very mild malt and grass. Taste is a bit more assertive, but this is kind of a watery beer. Flowery, fruity taste. Little bit of hops. Refreshing, but weak.

Pours a nice golden color with an interesting flowery smell to it. To me at least, the taste is a little lacking and watered down to be a "bitter" Still worth a try though, good for after a long hot day I’d think.

Very nice. Cherry tones, soft and smooth. Easily taken down. Drank the whole massive bottle of this. I still think Sm. Smith’s is overpriced in the US, however.

Mild malty aroma with some grassy, herbal hops and a mild, restrained fruitiness. Clear copper coloured body is topped by shy white head that recedes to cover with some patchy lacing. Malty flavour with decent balancing bitterness and mild fruity character with some floral, herbal, grassy hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation that stimulates the tongue.
