Lightly hazy yellow/gold with thick white head. Sweet fruit nose though a bit subdued with faint carmel and roasted notes dancing in the background. med weight in the mouth with a dry overall quality. Honey is a primary flavor with light hops and some malt contributing both hints of flowers and fruit. As it warms a distinctive metal note emerges on the nose and lightly on the last of the finish. Not bad though not sure if that metal quality should be there.

Hazy golden, slightly amber in color. Citrus, floral, and bitter aromas. Wow, better taste than I expected. Crisp fruity smoothness, with a very clean hops taste. Nice beer.

Pours clear yellow with thin white head that diminishes quickly. Nose is thin floral hops. The flavor is well balanced but very thin and watery. Mouthfeel is watery. There is no aftertaste. This tastes like lager to me. It is much better than American premium lagers, and would be good lawnmowing beer if it wasn’t four bucks a bottle.

Pours a hazy yellow/golden color with an orange tint mid body. The big foamy eggshell head dissipates quickly but leaves ample lacing around the edge of the glass. Aroma is very fr3sh and malty with scents of grass, hops, dirt, and malt. Aroma is almost cloyingly sweet. Flavor is bland, malty but lacking in any distinct flavor. Organic vegetables usualy taste extra fresh and flavorful. This beer tastes anything but. Maybe it’s because of all the great beers i’ve been drinking lately but this beer tastes very simple and un-satisfying.

Bottle poured a light amber with a smallish head. Light sweet aroma with a sweet caramel like flavor. Easy going easy drinking beer not bad at all, maybe a bit to sweet.

18 oz bottle. This is like...a good organic beer. The other organic Sam Smith I had wasn’t very good at all, it tasted like grass. Pretty good ale...is it really a bitter though?

Deep amber color with a nice beige head. Hops and yeast to the nose. Some spice. Feels adequate in the mouth. Medium bodied. Refreshing flavor with lots of citrus hints. Not one of Smith’s best but a very drinkable beer.

I got this due to the "Organically produced " statement on the label. It interests me as a concept for brewing beer....but that is another statement. It from what I can see on the label doesn’t give you any indication of the style, so I had no real expectations. It had a mild estery aroma with no real noticable hop aroma (although a little cardboard was there). Poured a light hazy amber color and capped itself with a tight firm head. The flavor was a well balanced malt to hop ratio. Hints of caramel malt played but mostly the base malt prevailed. Hopping seemed slightly low for my taste but incredibly balancing to the malt making for a VERY drinkable ale. To me this would make for a wonderful session beer. Just a side note it didn’t surprise me that the hopping would be subdued, there is essentially one commercially available organic hop so that severely limits your choices as a brewer. Overall I’d get it again, hopefully a bit fresher next time, maybe a bottling date would be nice!
