Good sized white foamy head. Aroma of light hops and plenty of toasted malt and some lightly sweet toffee/caramel. Flavor starts out with a hint of bitter hops, a good dose of light fruit hints (light raspberries and nectarines) and then develops a big sweetness from the malt. It’s that typical sam smiths yeast flavor mixed with toasty toffeeness. A good bitter, but sticks to the palate and gets a bit too malty and boring towards the end. As with most filtered light beers, seems a bit lifeless. KAggie97 (2469), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
