Bottle. Golden-amber with nice head and lace. Sweet, cereals, well-rounded. Medium body.

An average good ale. Nothing special about, but still quite enjoyable. Very smooth and refreshing.

talk about bland. aroma of a nursery, very mild bitterness, soft-bodied, hard to notice you’re drinking it. i never before realised how much flavour pesticides give a beer

smell is nice - herbs, nuts, toffee. taste is completely underwhelming, buttery and nutty and slightly bitter - everything is very "balanced" but in the same way bass ale is "balanced" (i.e. euphemism for BLAND)

Golden brown with a fruity, lightly hopped aroma. Flavour is well balanced and smooth with a lightly bitter finish. Another well crafted beer from Smiths.

Orange with solid tenacious head. Nice biscuity malt and hoppy aroma. Strong malty beginning to the flavour, followed by a smooth bitterness. A servicable beer without being outstanding.

My brother bought this beer for me. Expected much more from this ale, disovered it's just an average bitter. Subtle hop bitterness and golden body give this beer away as a middle of the road brew. Organic status is the twist on this average offering from my favorite North Yorkshire brewery.

Had this in bottle. Pours a clear golden with average head. Nose modest with some light malt and yeastiness. Has a light watery flavor. Very light maltiness and a nice dry finish. Also some grassiness to it. Not a whole lot of flavor though, but a refreshing drink.
