Bottle, many thanx to Quack-Duck! A bit unclear, pink-amber coloured with a persistent pinkish head. Robust sweet-almondy nose with a big touch of ripe cherries. Moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy. Sweet almondy finish - a bit artificial - with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. All in all O.K., a bit too sweet, but not worse than the majority of the Belgian samples...........

Bottle. Red appearance and poured with a medium head. Reminded me of an alcoholic version of Ribena. Never again!

Bottle - Pink body with a lasting pink head; Huge very simple cherry juice nose; Huge carbonation on sweet slightly harsh body, balanced but boring; Long finish with tons of simple aromas. Undrinkable to me with non of the Melbourn characteristics!

A litle bit gushing. Hazy dark red to brownish red color, ok sized pink head. Sweet cherry as well as almond like cherry pips scent. Also almond paste. Sweet, cherry, slight bit metallic taste. Sweet sugary aftertaste with hints of acids. Medium to a bit moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottle at The Three Goats Heads, Oxford, 06-09-08 Loz says that this smells to her of Maraschino cherries and I’m inclined to agree. Pours the colour of diluted blood. Syrupy cherry taste, soft fizziness, head is very faded light pink tiniest of bubbles.

bottle from a Farm Shop in Sidford. Clear very red colour, large rosé head with an aroma of cherry (or cherry bubblegum). Full-bodied, sweet and fruity with good cherry flavours, that do not seem artificial. A very nice fruit beer, although a wee bit too sweet perhaps.
