Cherry aroma with hints of strawberry jam. Fruity and sweet taste with almonds, cherries and more hints of strawberry jam. The taste is sweet, but not so sweet that it cannot be taken seriously. Very refreshing. FROTHINGSLOSH (2025), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 26, 2009 This red beer poured with a lovely pink head and a very fragrant cherry aroma. If you crave a fruit drink, this is a pretty good one, but is not very reminiscent of a beer. It is also nothing like a kriek, as it is very sweet and syrupy with no yeast presence. Aroma: Nice light cherry aroma and light malt.
Appearance: Clear reddish in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor: Cherry fruit in flavor like a sprite had been added to cherry flavoring.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a OK Mouthfeel.
Overall: It was fruity and I poured most down the drain it was flat and no good in my humble opinion.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 30, 2009 Samuel Smith’s Organic Cherry Fruit Beer is a clear, dense, brownish cherry red ale with a fluffy, light pink head that becomes dense and has excellent retention and lacing. It has a strong aroma of cherries and wood. It has a very light sweetness, like caramel. It’s medium bodied and incredibly smooth with a very clean finish. It tastes pretty sweet. Cherry is at the forefront and it’s perhaps a bit candy-like. There are notes of caramelly malt and wood. There’s not really any bitterness until the finish, where it’s light and perhaps grassy. Wow! It’s very fruity!
