330ml Bottle - Pink/red in colour with a pinky white head. Cherry aroma with hints of strawberry jam. Fruity and sweet taste with almonds, cherries and more hints of strawberry jam. The taste is sweet, but not so sweet that it cannot be taken seriously. Very refreshing.

Sampled from an 18 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby-fuscia color with a huge pink head. The aroma was dryish sour cherry. The flavor was sour and tart cherry with a light nutty undertone. The finish was medium length cherry. Good.

This red beer poured with a lovely pink head and a very fragrant cherry aroma. If you crave a fruit drink, this is a pretty good one, but is not very reminiscent of a beer. It is also nothing like a kriek, as it is very sweet and syrupy with no yeast presence.

clear reddish purple colored beer with an effervescent appearance and a cream light pink head. sweet black cherry and cookie aroma. flavor of sweet overripe black cherry and a bit of sprite. a bit too sweet. almost a creamy palate with a medium body. i remember liking the melbourn series and i bet this isn’t much different. loaded with cherries.

just a hair behind the raspberry as the best of the new SS fruit beer line-up. great aroma. reminded me of New Glarus belgian Red in the look and aroma, if not nearly as good. fresh fruit abounds, with a touch of tartness. light flavor. nice finish. well made dessert beer, or summer thirst quencher.

350ml Bottle – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA
Aroma: Nice light cherry aroma and light malt.
Appearance: Clear reddish in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor: Cherry fruit in flavor like a sprite had been added to cherry flavoring.
Palate: Dry Finish, with a OK Mouthfeel.
Overall: It was fruity and I poured most down the drain it was flat and no good in my humble opinion.

Samuel Smith’s Organic Cherry Fruit Beer is a clear, dense, brownish cherry red ale with a fluffy, light pink head that becomes dense and has excellent retention and lacing. It has a strong aroma of cherries and wood. It has a very light sweetness, like caramel. It’s medium bodied and incredibly smooth with a very clean finish. It tastes pretty sweet. Cherry is at the forefront and it’s perhaps a bit candy-like. There are notes of caramelly malt and wood. There’s not really any bitterness until the finish, where it’s light and perhaps grassy. Wow! It’s very fruity!
