Jun 8, 2009 Here is a treat. Garnet pour and a lovely cherry blossom aroma. It is hard to believe that I am sticking my nose into a glass of beer and not a flower. I should splash some of this on my girlfriend. A very nice dessert beer that reminds me of New Glarus fruit beers. It is sugary and fruity, tastes a little like high quality cherry soda. Not much sourness, and I wonder why not. This is a pretty floral brew wtih a clean finish. It tastes good mixed with some pale lager too. Another winner from one of my favorite brewers.

Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, pink, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium reddish-purple.
Aroma is notes of cherry candy.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, syrupy texture, lively/fizzy carbonation.
Soda pop.

Jun 6, 2009 Pours a reddish amber with a thin white head. Aroma is light cherry and malt. Flavor is sweet cherry with a puckering finish.

Poured a clear reddish brown color with a moderate frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart cherry and malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Solid drinkable fruit brew.

Jun 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy reddish brown with a thin pink head. Aroma of cherry marzipan. Lightish body, very light carbonation. Cherry, toffee and almond flavor with a crisp finish. The finish seems a little medicinal, otherwise this is pretty good and a seriously good GF beer.

May 29, 2009 Pours a reddish amber color with a pink head. Tart cherry dominates the flavor with some caramel malts. Flavor is almost all cherry juice. I was hoping for something better than this but there’s nothing that blends with the cherry.
