Cherry red with a small white head. Smells of cherries. Tastes of cherries. Like a nice cherry cider. Nothing too fantastic, just nice. I was actually kind of surprised, fruit beers are usually either too sweet, or too bitter so that you can’t taste the fruit at all. This one is just right.

Bottle. Pours pinkish red. Aromas of cherry & lots of it. Taste just like a Ludens cough drop. Little evidence of a beer here. Sweet candy like cherry. Drinkable & somewhat enjoyable. Its like Bartles & James started making beer

In the bottle from Beertopia. I don’t understand why this gets to have its ow listing since it is clearly the exact same beer as the Melbourn Bros Cherry. Pours purple with a pink head. Dark chunks swirl around the bottom. Smells like a cherry cough drop. Very tart initially, then finishes super sweet. Huge cherry taste. Not much else. A giant chalky mouthfeel, but otherwise, sort of what you’d expect this to be.

pours a clear dark red with a thin white head that dissipates quickly, and a little lacing. smell is of cherry and a little malt. taste is sweet, cherry, some malt, ends a little dry. overall good for a fruit beer, a little too sweet, and a little too much cherry.

Bottle. Red pour, kind of flat. Light sweet cherry aroma and sweet cherry flavor, tart aftertaste. Kinda sugary, cherry is almost overpowering. Would drink again.

Bottle. It’s a red beer with an orange glow, hazy, and topped by a dense, pinkish head. Artificial on the nose, with almonds and cherries. Quite sugary. The flavor is as expected, judged from the aroma, candy sweet, with artificial cherries and almond. Medium, sticky mouthfeel. Way too sweet for me, and also to artificial or syrupy or whatever it is giving the cherry-ish flavor. (081229)

355ml bottle. Hazy reddish amber in colour with a trace of pinkish froth; the smell reminds me of Tunes, the cherry flavoured throat sweets, an aroma I know well as it used to pervade the Mars factory at Slough where I worked years ago. Quite fizzy in the mouth, with a good sweet and sour balance and a decent cherry flavour; unfortunately rather too sweet to finish.
